Note:

• The bridge of the violin will be paper-wrapped and stored in the nut of the instrument. Tossing it out would be a mistake. Set it up between the two F Holes.
• Don't fret if some of the bow hairs are loose when you receive it. Pull the frog firmly with the screw so that the hair is taut.
• Cutting off the damaged section of the bow hair is the only solution when you discover a break in the hair.
• Bowstring tension should be kept at a comfortable level. After arranging the hair on the strings, it should have a tiny bounce without contacting the stick. It's common practice to leave about half an inch of space between the hair and the curve's lowest point.
• Use your index finger and thumb to hold the rosin while you tighten the bow and spread it equally along the bowstring in both directions. Recommended use: tear a trace on rosin to make it granular for fast, even smearing. Keep your hands away from the rosin or use a tissue to smear it, as the sticky residue will be difficult to remove.
• You shouldn't worry if the string comes loose; just contact support to get it replaced.
